Karachi Kings are setting the tone in PSL 11. On a lively night at Gaddafi Stadium, the chase never felt out of reach, even with 198 staring at them. There was pressure, but they never lost control. That’s what’s setting them apart right now.
Rawalpindiz had their moments. Daryl Mitchell held the innings together with a sharp 65, while Sam Billings kept things moving with a brisk 58. The fourth-wicket stand gave them something solid, something defendable. When Pindiz crossed 190, there was a sign of relief.
Still, Karachi never let that belief grow. Hasan Ali’s spell cut through the middle. Three wickets, tight lines, no freebies. Khushdil Shah backed him up, and suddenly that big total didn’t look as intimidating as it should have.
Then came the response with chase.
The chase began with intent but not recklessness. David Warner played it smart, picking his gaps, rotating strike, and keeping the asking rate in check. His fifty wasn’t flashy, but it mattered.
And then Azam Khan took over. That innings had bite. Sixes landed deep, boundaries came in clusters, and the noise in the stands kept rising. His 74 off 34 pushed the scoreboard and shifted the mood entirely. At one point, it felt like the game had already tilted.
Rawalpindiz tried to pull things back. A wicket here, a quiet over there. But Karachi kept moving. Kings won it with four balls to spare.

The PSL 11 points table now shows Karachi Kings sitting comfortably at the top with three wins in three. Multan Sultans remain close behind but have played one game fewer.
Rawalpindiz, meanwhile, are still chasing their first win. Two games, two defeats so far. With a fresh squad and plenty of young faces, it may take a little time before they settle and start turning things around.
Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United are hanging in the middle with three points each, while Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators are trying to find rhythm.
And then there’s the bottom. Hyderabad Kingsmen are still stuck without a win. The standings look rough for both new teams.
