ICC Women’s Player Of The Month August 2025 Nominees Revealed

The ICC has revealed three names for Women’s Player of the Month August 2025. Three names include two in-form all-rounders and a most talented wicket-keeper-batter.

Ireland’s Orla Prendergast scored 144 runs in three matches, including two fifties. She was seen in great form against Pakistan in the T20I series. She also led the wicket tally for her side with four scalps, earning the Player of the Series award. Prendergast then carried her momentum into the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier, adding another 100 runs and three wickets.

From the Netherlands, Iris Zwilling stood out as her side claimed four wins in six games at the Europe Qualifier. The all-rounder finished as joint-leading wicket-taker with 10 dismissals and an economy of 4.65. Her best spells came against Germany (3/14) and Italy (3/6). Zwilling also chipped in with the bat, striking at over 120 in the middle order.

Pakistan’s Muneeba Ali is the third nominee after a historic hundred against Ireland in the T20I series. The opener smashed 100 off 68 balls, hitting 14 boundaries and a six. It was her second T20I century, making her the only Pakistan woman with multiple centuries in the format. She finished just behind Prendergast in the series run charts with an average of 66.

The three nominees reflect the growing depth of women’s cricket across Europe and Asia. Fans can now cast their votes on the ICC website to decide the ICC Women’s player of the month.
