Hyderabad Kingsmen vs Rawalpindiz Live: KIngsmen Dominates in Powerplay

KARACHI: The Hyderabad Kingsmen completed a dominant yet eventful Powerplay, reaching 82/3 after 6 overs in their must-win encounter against the Rawalpindiz. The innings began with a ruthless display of hitting from opener Maaz Sadaqat, who dictated terms from the first delivery. 

Sadaqat blazed his way to 28 runs off only 11 balls, peppered with five boundaries and a six, setting a frantic pace that immediately put the Rawalpindiz bowlers on the back foot.

Despite the early onslaught, the Rawalpindiz managed to claw back with crucial breakthroughs to prevent the game from slipping away entirely. Marnus Labuschagne fell early for 5, bowled by Ben Sears, which brought Usman Khan to the crease. Usman continued the aggressive approach, striking a rapid 30 off 15 balls. 

However, the momentum shifted on the final ball of the sixth over when Usman was dismissed, leaving the Kingsmen three down despite their high scoring rate.

As the field restrictions lifted, Saim Ayub remained the key figure for Hyderabad, batting on 12* off just 4 deliveries. His presence ensures that while the Kingsmen have lost three top-order wickets, the scoring rate remains well above 13 runs per over. 

The Rawalpindiz bowling unit, led by Asif Afridi, Amad Butt, and Ben Sears, now faces the challenge of containing Ayub in the middle overs to halt Hyderabad’s charge toward a massive total.
