MS vs HHK Live: Hyderabad Kingsmen Dominate Multan Sultans in PSL 11 Eliminator

MS vs HHK Live: Hyderabad Kingsmen Dominate Multan Sultans in PSL 11 Eliminator

In the MS vs HHK live match, Multan Sultans' opening pair couldn't provide the needed stability as wickets fell at crucial moments. Sahibzada Farhan, caught by Saim Ayub off Akif Javed, was dismissed after scoring 15 runs off 12 balls, including 2 boundaries at a strike rate of 125.00.

Steven Smith, too, was dismissed quickly after scoring 13 runs off 10 balls. He was caught by Maaz Sadaqat off Mohammad Ali’s bowling, further adding to the pressure on the Sultans.

At 30/2, the Sultans were already under pressure. Josh Philippe’s attempt to stabilize the innings also fell short, as he was dismissed for 6 runs (4 balls) by Hunain Shah, who struck him lbw. Philippe’s strike rate was 150.00, but it wasn’t enough to keep the innings afloat.

Middle Order Fails to Fire

Shan Masood, the captain, fought hard and was the top scorer for the Sultans, remaining not out at 22 from 20 balls. His innings included 2 boundaries, and he had a strike rate of 110.00. Despite his efforts, the wickets kept tumbling around him.

Ashton Turner’s stint was brief. The Sultans’ skipper was caught by Hassan Khan off Saim Ayub’s bowling, contributing only 9 runs from 7 balls. Arafat Minhas followed shortly after, dismissed for 1 run off 2 balls, falling to Glenn Maxwell.

Sultans Struggle in the Middle Overs

By the 11th over, the Multan Sultans were in deep trouble, sitting at 85/6. Mohammad Nawaz, who scored 18 runs from 19 balls, was dismissed by Akif Javed, caught by Mohammad Ali.

This left the Sultans with no real chance of mounting a recovery, with only Peter Siddle, Muhammad Ismail, and Faisal Akram yet to bat.

The Kingsmen’s bowlers kept the pressure on throughout, with Mohammad Ali’s 2 overs yielding 1 wicket for 17 runs at an economy rate of 8.50. Akif Javed bowled 4 overs, claiming 2 wickets for 30 runs at a rate of 7.50.
