Rashid, Gill and Buttler Guides Gujarat Titans to a Thrilling Win Over Delhi Capitals

Gujarat Titans defeated Delhi Capitals in a thrilling fashion, as Rashid Khan remained the star performer of the match by taking three wickets. It was a highly competitive game in which the Capitals came close to the target, however, the Titans held their nerves to secure victory by just one run.

Batting first, Gujarat Titans got off to a strong start, as Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler played positively in the Powerplay. It was a comeback game for Gill in which he impressed everyone with a fine knock of 70 runs. Besides him, Jos Buttler also showcased his class, as he made 52 off just 27 balls with the help of 3 fours and 5 sixes.

Due to their collective efforts, Gujarat Titans managed to score 210 at the end of the first innings. From the bowling perspective, Mukesh Kumar remained the key bowler for the Capitals, as he took 2 wickets while conceding 55 runs in the first innings.

Coming out to bat, Delhi Capitals showcased a strong intent to chase down the target. Their openers started off well, but the Titans got back in the game by taking quick wickets in the middle overs. The innings of KL Rahul was especially impressive, as he held one end firmly to take the chase forward. Unfortunately, his superlative knock of 92 runs didn’t produce the results for DC, as Gujarat Titans bowled superbly in the death overs to seal the victory.
