The 2nd ODI between Australia and South Africa is underway and the start has not been magnificent for the hosts. With 3 wickets taken early on in the innings, the match seemed as good as gone for the home team.

That was until the partnership of Josh Inglis and Cameron Green began. The two powerhouses managed to bring back the score to a respectable run rate and allowed the teams hopes of winning the match still alive.

As of the 22nd over, Cameron Green was at 34 runs off 54 balls with a respectable three fours in his pocket. On the other hand, Josh Inglis, proved to be a force, reaching a total of 43 runs off of 41 balls with a spectacular 3 fours and 2 sixes.

Unfortunately by the third ball of the 23rd over, Senuran Muthusamy delivered an impeccable ball that was mistimed and ended up getting Cameron Green caught out.

While the blow is huge for Australia, Cameron Green has effectively done his job to get the team back into the game. The remaining match will tell if this partnership was fruitful or were the dynamic duos efforts all in vain.
