Shock Statement From Enrique Riquelme Links Rodri With Real Madrid Move

In a surprising bold statement, Real Madrid presidential candidate Enrique Riquelme has said he would try to bring in both Rodri and Erling Haaland if he becomes the club’s new president.

During a TV show appearance, Enrique Riquelme made a big transfer claim as part of his campaign to become the next boss of Real Madrid.

“I will do everything to get Rodri. If I become Real Madrid president, Rodri will play here.” said Real Madrid presidential candidate Enrique Riquelme.

Talking about Erling Haaland, he said the Norwegian striker’s deal with Manchester City has a release clause, which he can use to bring him to Madrid next season.

“Erling Haaland has a release clause with Manchester City. If I win, he will play for Madrid.” said Real Madrid presidential candidate Enrique Riquelme.

“If Haaland and Rodri don’t join Real Madrid under my presidency, I will pay 100% of the membership fees for all 100,000 Real Madrid members.” added Enrique Riquelme.

For the unversed, Real Madrid is currently under pressure due to their dismal performance in the last LaLiga season. Fans are demanding answers from the management as to why the club has failed to perform according to the expectations.

Recently, the club has brought in the experienced Jose Mourinho as the head coach for the next season. It would be interesting to see how things will shape up if Enrique Riquelme is elected, as he has his own plans to lift Madrid with high profile signings.
