England vs Panama Half-Time Report: Stalemate Continues with No Goals
England and Panama fought hard in the first-half, but were unable to score any goals. The Three Lions were certainly more dominant on the field, but the strong Panama defense didn’t allow them to take a lead on the scoreboard.
England came onto the field with a clear plan to attack from the outset. It worked well for them in the opening minutes, but Panama quickly tightened their defence to deny them any clear goalscoring opportunities. In fact, Panama put England under pressure during the middle phase of the half, winning a few corner kicks and forcing Thomas Tuchel's men onto the back foot.
At the end of the first half, the scores are currently standing at 0-0, with Panama looking firm in the defense. England will now try to take a lead in the second half, but that will require a renewed plan from them to break the Panama resistance.
