England Announced Squad for 3rd Test Against Pakistan - Carse Misses Out
LONDON: England will go into the final Test against Pakistan with a 2-0 series lead and a squad, with Sonny Baker retaining his place and Brydon Carse still absent from the group. The England announced squad for the 3rd Test will face Pakistan at Edgbaston in Birmingham from September 9 to 13.
The squad remains largely unchanged from the previous Test, although Matthew Fisher has been left out. Fisher was part of the travelling group for the first two matches but did not feature, with England preferring other pace options in their playing XI.

Carse's omission continues as the Cricket Regulator examines an incident involving the fast bowler. The investigation was initiated after a video surfaced showing Carse being detained by police outside a nightclub in Derby.
"Following a referral from the ECB, the Cricket Regulator have confirmed that they will investigate events on Saturday night in Derby," the ECB had said in a statement.
Baker, meanwhile, stays in contention for his Test debut after remaining with the squad for the final match. England have already used Josh Tongue, Ollie Robinson, Jofra Archer and Gus Atkinson among their seam options during the series.
The hosts secured the series after winning the opening two Tests, leaving Pakistan with the task of preventing a clean sweep in Birmingham. England, meanwhile, will have the chance to finish the three-match contest unbeaten on home soil.
