ENG vs WI Test 2024 | West Indies Tour Of England

The ENG vs WI test 2024 series will be played from 10th July-30th July 2024. The upcoming West Indies tour of England will form part of the 2023–2025 ICC World Test Championship.

Ben Stokes will be leading the English test cricket team and Kraigg Brathwaite will be incharge of the West Indian squad. 

The last time these two teams faced each other in a test match was back in 2021-2022 when England toured West Indies to play 5 T20Is and 3 Test matches. 

Two out of three matches in that series were drawn, whereas the last match was won by West Indies, making them the winner of the series.

The West Indies tour of England for a three match test series will commence on 10th July. This series holds much significance as it will become a part of the 2023–2025 ICC World Test Championship.

ENG vs WI test squads

The England Cricket Board announced their squad for the West Indies tour of England on 30th June. 

Chris Woakes returns to test cricket after an year as England’s great pacer James Anderson plays his farewell series. 

Anderson, test cricket’s most successful fast bowler, will retire after the first test at Lord’s beginning on 10 July.

Here’s a list of the England squad for the upcoming home series against West Indies: 

Ben Stokes (C), James Anderson, Gus Atkinson, Shoaib Bashir, Harry Brook, Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Dan Lawrence, Dillon Pennington, Ollie Pope, Matthew Potts,  Joe Root , Jamie Smith (wk), and Chris Woakes. 

The West Indies Cricket Board finalized their squad for the ENG vs WI 2024 test series on 27th June.
