AB de Villiers once again proved why he’s lovingly dubbed “Mr. 360”, smashing an unforgettable innings of 116 off just 51 balls* to propel the South Africa Champions to a comprehensive victory at Grace Road in the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2025.
In pursuit of a humble 153, De Villiers and Hashim Amla (29* off 25) have posted a blistering 153-run opening partnership and wiped out the match in 12.2 overs. De Villiers scored his hundred as early as the 41st ball and finished with 15 fours and seven sixes, leaving England bowlers stunned.
The dominating win emphasized how the 41-year-old player still retains the ability to turn individual games on his own. It was already the third consecutive victory of the South African Champions, and they became the leaders of the standings.
Nostalgia & Legacy: He still proves to be a legend all over again at 41.
