Chasing a modest 153, De Villiers and Hashim Amla (29* off 25) forged a lightning-fast 153-run opening stand, sealing the win in just 12.2 overs. De Villiers reached his century in a mere 41 balls and ended with 15 fours and seven sixes, staggering England’s bowlers into submission.
