Australian Legendary Batsman David Warner Signs Up For PSL 10 Player Draft

Former Australian opening batsman, David Warner has made himself available for the highly anticipated PSL 10 player draft. 

The player draft for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League is set to take place on January 11th, 2025, in the port city Gwadar in Balochistan. 

Fire-batter David Warner’s inclusion in the PSL 10 player draft was confirmed on PSL’s social media accounts which was captioned “ENDING 2024 ON A HIGH. The Aussie powerhouse David Warner has registered for the PSL Draft.”

David Warner’s name is not unknown to any. He has made a mark with his explosive batting style and consistency. 

Warner has represented Australia in 110 T20Is and has accumulated 3277 runs with one century and 28 fifties. The opening batter is currently engaged in the Big Bash League where he’s showing the exceptional form that he is in. 

In June 2024, David Warner officially retired from all forms of international cricket. His retirement decision was announced soon after Australia made an exit from the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. 

Notably, Warner is the 23rd foreign player and fourth Australian player to register for the PSL 10 Player Draft so far.

Day before yesterday, New Zealand big shot Tim Southee registered himself for the PSL 10 player draft which further strengthened the Pakistan Super League’s position as a competitive cricket league. 

Apart from Warner, many renowned cricketers from all over the world have signed up for the PSL including but not limited to, Alex Hales, Daryl Mitchell, Shakib al Hasan, Martin Guptill, Jason Roy, Colin Munro etc.
