Alcaraz Wins Australian Open, Becomes Youngest Career Grand Slam Champion

Alcaraz Wins Australian Open, Becomes Youngest Career Grand Slam Champion

Carlos Alcaraz won the Australian Open on Sunday. He beat Novak Djokovic in an exciting final match. The score was 2-6, 6-2, 6-3, 7-5.

Alcaraz lost the first set but came back strong. This victory made Alcaraz the youngest man to win all four major tennis titles.

He is only 22 years old with the four major titles. The Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and US Open. Only five other men have won all four titles in tennis history.

Alcaraz reached this goal faster than tennis legends. Rafael Nadal was 24 years old when he completed his career grand slam. Roger Federer was 27. Novak Djokovic was 29. Alcaraz beat all their records.

Djokovic wanted to win his 25th grand slam title. He is 38 years old. This would have broken Margaret Court's record of 24 titles. But Alcaraz played too well. Djokovic could not match his energy and skill.

Alcaraz now has seven grand slam titles total. He is the youngest man to reach this number. He broke Bjorn Borg's old record. Alcaraz thanked his team after winning. He praised Djokovic for his great career. His hero Rafael Nadal watched from the crowd during this historic win.
