The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) grants conditional NOCs for PSL 11 for several national players. These NOCs come with restrictions tied to Bangladesh’s upcoming home fixtures against New Zealand. The board has prioritised player availability for the ODI leg of the series, which begins in mid-April.
Six players, Mustafizur Rahman, Parvez Hossain Emon, Shariful Islam, Nahid Rana, Tanzid Hasan, and Rishad Hossain, have secured contracts in the Pakistan Super League. Their participation, however, will be split or limited to ensure they return in time for international duty.
A BCB official confirmed the arrangement, stating: “The board has issued partial NOCs to all the players. They have been instructed to remain available for the ODI series.” The ODIs are scheduled for April 17, 20, and 23, and are seen as critical in the context of World Cup qualification.
Mustafizur Rahman’s clearance has been divided into two windows. He will feature in the PSL until April 12, rejoin the national side, and then return to the league after the ODIs. The rest of the group, including Shariful Islam and Tanzid Hasan, have been cleared only until April 12, while Parvez Hossain Emon has a slightly extended stay.
The national training camp is due to begin on March 27, meaning several players will miss its early phase due to league commitments.
The upcoming PSL 11 season will run from March 26 to May 3, featuring 44 matches across multiple venues. Defending champions Lahore Qalandars will open the tournament against Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen.
Matches will be played in Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, and Peshawar, with the final scheduled at Gaddafi Stadium. Each team will play 10 group matches, with the top four advancing to the playoffs.
