The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced that the visiting team will land in Bangladesh on March 9, with a training session planned for March 10 ahead of the opening ODI.
“Pakistan will arrive in Bangladesh on March 9 and will undergo a training session on March 10 ahead of the opening ODI against the hosts at the Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Dhaka on March 11,” the statement confirmed.
The remaining two matches are set for March 13 and March 15, with all ODIs hosted at the same venue. Pakistan’s tour forms part of Bangladesh’s busy home international schedule for 2026 following the T20 World Cup.
After the ODI series, both sides will meet again in May for a two-match Test series as part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025–27 cycle. The first Test will be held in Dhaka from May 8 to 12, and the second in Chattogram from May 16 to 20.
Bangladesh will return to international action after the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 11 before hosting the Test series.
Bangladesh’s 2026 home season includes four Tests, 12 ODIs, and nine T20Is, beginning with Pakistan’s tour. Following Pakistan, the New Zealand men’s cricket team will visit for a white-ball series starting April 17, and Australia will also tour for three ODIs and three T20Is around mid-June.
Later in the season, Bangladesh plans to host India for a limited-overs series, featuring three ODIs and three T20Is, after a two-match Test series against the West Indies. However, India’s tour of Bangladesh remains uncertain due to recent tensions, including Bangladesh's withdrawal from the T20 World Cup in India.
Fans can already mark their calendars to follow the Bangladesh ODI schedule closely as the season promises action-packed cricket across formats.
