DHAKA: In the series-deciding final T20I at Mirpur, New Zealand’s top order asserted total control during a rain-curtailed 15-over chase. 

While chasing 103, the Black Caps utilized the shortened 4.3-over powerplay to effectively break the back of the pursuit, racing to 31 for 3 in just 27 balls.

New Zealand lost his opener in the 2nd over when Katene Clarke got out after scoring just 1 by Shoriful Islam. In the same over, he got the wicket of Dane Cleaver (1). After 12/2 in overs. The clinical execution under pressure silenced the Mirpur crowd and set the stage for the Black Caps to level the series 1-1.
