LAHORE: Babar Azam reached 3,000 World Test Championship runs with a crisp boundary on the fourth ball of the 48th over during Pakistan’s first Test against South Africa at Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday. He became the first Asian and Pakistan’s first batter to hit the mark.

After 48 balls and five well-timed boundaries, Subrayen finally got one past Babar, trapping him lbw for 23.
