India’s decision to bowl first paid off in style as Kuldeep Yadav quickly became the star of the night. With variations that left the batters guessing, he claimed four wickets, three of them in a single over, completely shifting the momentum in India’s favor. His accuracy and attacking intent ensured UAE never had the chance to settle at the crease.
As Kuldeep shone with his four wicket-haul, Shivam Dube was offering a very good support at the opposite end. This all-rounder took three wickets within two overs, busting through the middle order and tightening India’s control over the game. The remaining bowling unit sustained the pressure and each bowler was involved in the demolition.
UAE began on a positive note as opener Alishan Sharafu struck 22 runs off 17 balls, hitting three boundaries and a six to lift his team’s spirits. But once he was dismissed, the innings crumbled rapidly. No other batter managed to cross double figures, with India’s bowlers striking at regular intervals and keeping the run rate in check.
