Alyssa Healy once again proved why she’s one of the finest modern-day match-winners. Her masterful century delivered Australia a stunning victory. A chase of 331 is not an easy target, but the Australian women's team made it. They shattered records and left India stunned.

Healy began briskly, timing the ball sweetly and refusing to let India’s new-ball attack settle. While others often fade after a flying start, she carried the momentum deep into the innings, converting aggression into runs. By the time she got out, she had already taken Australia past 250, leaving the finish line within sight.

It wasn’t just the strike rate. It was the control of nerves and calmness under pressure. Healy found gaps, rotated the strike, and punished every loose delivery. Her innings will go down not just as one of her best, but as one of the most complete knocks ever played in a run chase.

Perry, Gardner, and Litchfield Seal It Calmly.

After Healy’s departure, Ellyse Perry showed the composure and class that have defined her career. She had to retire hurt mid-innings, but returned just in time to let Australia win with calm.

Ashleigh Gardner’s pace when it mattered most, while Phoebe Litchfield’s smart rotation ensured the target never went beyond reach. Together, they made sure the momentum never slipped.

Australia’s depth shone through again. It was the sum of performances that made the world’s No.1 side look untouchable.

Before Healy’s fabulous knock, Annabel Sutherland’s spell had already changed the script. India were going well at 294 for 4 with seven overs left. They were looking good for 350+. But Sutherland removed both Richa Ghosh and Jemimah Rodrigues with quick deliveries. Australian bowlers didn't let India go to 350.

Those breakthroughs proved decisive. A target of 331 looked slightly within reach, and Australia made it count.

India’s innings had its highs. Kranti Gaud and Amanjot Kaur were belted early but recovered well later in the innings. Charani bowled with discipline, Deepti Sharma kept things tidy, and the fielding showed moments of brilliance.

But Rana’s expensive spell hurt, and without a reliable sixth bowling option, India were forced to overuse their main bowlers. Against a batting lineup like Australia’s, that gap proved costly.

This wasn’t just a normal win. It was a statement of high intent. The highest-ever successful run chase in women’s ODIs, the second-highest total ever batting second, and one of Healy’s most complete performances.

Australia has chased big before. But this was history in motion.
