Al-Hilal Thumped Al-Fayha 3-0 to Take Saudi Pro League Lead

Al-Hilal produced a bold performance to defeat Al-Fayha 3-0 and move to the top of the Saudi Pro League points table. The result gave them another important three points as they strengthened their position in the title race with a comfortable victory over Al-Fayha.

The visitors made a fast start to the contest and took the lead in the 31st minute. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic opened the scoring for Al-Hilal, giving his side an advantage before half-time. His goal allowed Al-Hilal to take control of the game and put Al-Fayha under pressure as the hosts looked for a response.

Al-Fayha were unable to find an equalizer before the break, leaving Al-Hilal with a 1-0 lead at half-time. The visitors continued to hold the advantage after the restart and soon added another goal to put themselves in a much stronger position.

Sultan Mandash doubled Al-Hilal's lead in the 46th minute, scoring shortly after the beginning of the second half. The goal gave the visitors a two-goal cushion and made the task even more difficult for Al-Fayha. With Al-Hilal firmly in control, the home side needed a quick response to get themselves back into the contest.

However, Al-Fayha struggled to make an impact on the scoreboard, while Al-Hilal remained composed with their advantage. The visitors continued to look for opportunities to add to their lead and eventually found a third goal late in the match.

Nasser Al-Dawsari completed the scoring in the 88th minute, putting the result beyond doubt. The late goal capped a strong display from Al-Hilal and confirmed their 3-0 victory away from home.

The final whistle saw Al-Hilal collect all three points and move to the top of the Saudi Pro League standings. The three-goal victory also underlined their attacking strength, with three different players finding the net during the match.

Al-Fayha, meanwhile, were unable to find a way past the Al-Hilal defence and ended the game without a goal. The defeat will leave them looking for a stronger response in their next league fixture.

For Al-Hilal, the win is a major boost to their campaign which has started with two back-to-back victories. They will now look to maintain this momentum, and protect their lead at the top of the points table as the Saudi Pro League 2026 continues.
