4Thrives Esports Wins PMGO 2026 Champion Title In Jakarta

Pakistan's rise in competitive mobile gaming received another boost after 4Thrives esports secured the PUBG Mobile Global Open 2026 title. This is the first Pakistani team to win one of the year's major international PUBG Mobile tournaments.

The victory came in Jakarta, where the Pakistani side finished ahead of a field featuring leading teams from multiple regions. Across the Grand Finals, 4Thrives combined aggressive play with consistent placement points to top the standings on 122 points. Their campaign included three Chicken Dinners and 77 eliminations. These earned them $62,500 from the tournament's overall prize pool.

International Field Challenged by Pakistani Champions

The PMGO season-opening event attracted 32 teams and served as the first major global PUBG Mobile competition of 2026. After progressing through the tournament's preliminary phases, 16 teams advanced to the title-deciding stage.

Turkey's ULF Esports finished as runners-up with 104 points, while Brazil's FURIA Esports secured third place on 97. S2G Esports and EArena rounded out the top five after both teams ended the finals with 83 points.

Further down the leaderboard, TT Project claimed sixth position, followed by GOAT Team and Aurora Gaming. Indonesia's BOOM Esports and Vietnam's Team Flash completed the top 10.

Individual Honours and Standout Performances

Although 4Thrives lifted the trophy, the tournament's Most Valuable Player award went to ULF Esports player Kecth222. The Turkish competitor was also recognised as the event's Best In-Game Leader after helping guide his side to a second-place finish.

FURIA Esports also produced one of the strongest performances of the finals. The Brazilian organisation recorded two Chicken Dinners on its way to a podium finish.

Pakistan to Host Next PMGO Edition

The success of 4Thrives esports was followed by another announcement that could further strengthen Pakistan's position in international gaming. Tournament organisers confirmed that PMGO Season 2 will be staged in Pakistan in October.

The decision means international teams, officials and esports stakeholders are expected to travel to the country for the next edition of the competition. With a Pakistani team winning the current championship and Pakistan preparing to host the upcoming tournament, the country is set to play a central role in the PUBG Mobile calendar this year.
