In a commanding 108–91 win, the Indiana Pacers stunned the Oklahoma City Thunder, forcing a dramatic Game 7 in the NBA Finals, marking the first deciding game since 2016.

With the Thunder leading 10–2, the Pacers rallied with a 30–9 run to close the first half, turning control of the game in their favour. This surge laid the foundation for the eventual blowout.

Indiana forced 21 Thunder turnovers, converting them into 19 points. Oklahoma City's sloppy handling and Indiana’s tight defence proved costly according to Reuters.

Tyrese Haliburton, Pascal Siakam, and Obi Toppin led the charge, but depth was key: Obi Toppin scored 20 off the bench, while Andrew Nembhard added 17, highlighting the Pacers’ strong second unit.

Shai Gilgeous‑Alexander struggled, finishing with only 21 points and a career-high eight turnovers. Jalen Williams was held to 16, well below his Game 5 explosion .

Despite a calf injury, Haliburton played 23 minutes, contributing 14 points, 5 assists, and 2 steals, including the game-igniting push before halftime, showing remarkable resilience.

In a report by Reuters, Oklahoma City coach Mark Daigneault said of his team's overall performance. "We were not where we needed to be on either end of the floor for much of the game, and we have to be a lot better before Game 7."

With everything still on the line and odd-making history hanging in the balance, Game 7 at OKC promises a thriller. Stay tuned—this one is shaping up to be unforgettable.
