Former Pakistan captain Ramiz Raja has heaped praise on Sahibzada Farhan for his commanding body language during Pakistan’s final T20I against Bangladesh—an innings that steered his side to a consolatory victory amid a disappointing series loss.

Farhan, dropped for the first two matches, responded emphatically with a 41-ball 63, featuring six fours and five sixes, anchoring Pakistan’s total to 178‑7 in the third game in Dhaka.

According to Ramiz Raja, “Apart from Sahibzada Farhan, Hasan Nawaz and Mohammad Nawaz, the rest of the players’ body language was poor. It seemed like the team was nervous.”

Ramiz did critique the broader team’s demeanor:

  • Limited composure: He observed that apart from Farhan, Hasan Nawaz, and Mohammad Nawaz, many players appeared visibly nervous, lacking confidence and control in their movements and demeanour.

  • Specific feedback for Mohammad Haris: He called out Haris’ approach at No. 3, describing it as rushed and poorly selected, advising more thoughtfulness and calm at the crease if he wants to succeed in that pivotal position.

  • Series result: Bangladesh claimed the series 2–1, thanks to wins in the first two matches.

  • Pakistan’s fightback: Farhan’s knock and a disciplined bowling effort—led by Salman Mirza’s 3‑19—helped Pakistan clinch a consolation win by 74 runs, avoiding a series whitewash.

Ramiz Raja’s take underscores one key message: body language can define opportunity. Farhan seized his chance with poise and aggression, while others must now reflect on cultivating belief and composure under pressure—a lesson modern squads can’t afford to ignore.
