Pakistan’s cricket board has officially announced a short white-ball tour of Bangladesh for July–August 2025, featuring a three-match T20I series following their May visit to host Bangladesh for ODIs and T20Is.

In a rare move, Pakistan will tour Bangladesh twice in 2025. After hosting Bangladesh at home in May–June for three T20Is (May 28, 30, June 1 in Lahore), Pakistan will return for another three-match T20I series in July–August . The July dates were confirmed following talks between PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and BCB chief Faruque Ahmed during the ICC Champions Trophy

The exact venues and dates are still being finalised, but the tour will take place shortly before the 2025 Asia Cup, serving as a key preparation series for both sides.

Board members indicate the matches could be held across major Bangladeshi venues such as Dhaka, Chattogram, or Sylhet, depending on logistics and scheduling .

According to Cricket Pakistan, BCB Chairman Faruque Ahmed confirmed: “Pakistan Cricket Board has informed us that they will tour Bangladesh outside the FTP. A short tour in July has mostly been confirmed…”

The tentative schedule for the tour is as follows:

Date

This reciprocal tour strengthens Pakistan-Bangladesh cricketing ties and provides both sides valuable match practice ahead of the 2025 Asia Cup and 2026 T20 World Cup.

Since Bangladesh opted to replace planned ODIs in Pakistan with T20Is in May, both boards have focused on more limited-overs fixtures across the summer.
