Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first in the 2nd ODI against Zimbabwe Women at the National Stadium in Karachi.
Following their massive 168-run victory in the series opener, captain Fatima Sana opted to set a target once again, looking to clinch the three-match series with a game to spare.
The decision to bat reflects the hosts' confidence after posting a record-breaking 330/5 in the first match. The Karachi pitch is expected to offer plenty of runs early on, though it may slow down as the match progresses into the evening.
Zimbabwe, led by Nomvelo Sibanda, will be under pressure to strike early with the ball and restrict Pakistan’s top order, which featured a career-best 98 from Sadaf Shamas.
For the visitors, this match is a must-win to keep their hopes alive in the ICC Women’s Championship series.
