‘He is the Best’ – Jude Bellingham Hails Harry Kane After Historic England Appearance
Jude Bellingham praised Harry Kane as England’s greatest player after the captain marked his 125th appearance for the national team with two goals and an assist in the recent Nations League win over the Czech Republic.
Kane matched former goalkeeper Peter Shilton’s record for the most appearances by an England men’s player. He marked the achievement in style by taking his international goal tally to 91 in front of the home fans at Wembley.
"First and foremost he is an unbelievable human being, as a captain and a man," said Jude Bellingham.
"He is the best England player to ever wear the shirt and it is an honor to play with him. He is pretty unmatched. He is scoring goals for fun, he goes deep and he gets tackles in. He is only getting better." added Jude Bellingham.
England manager Thomas Tuchel also applauded Harry Kane’s consistent performances, saying he is an exceptional footballer who is only getting better with every match.
"It's what he does. I don't take it for granted, it's just exceptional every single match." said England manager Thomas Tuchel.
For the unversed, Harry Kane has made a huge mark on England’s football history. He broke Wayne Rooney’s goalscoring record and also moved past him as England’s most-capped outfield player at the World Cup earlier this year.
The England captain is now chasing another big milestone as he looks to reach 100 international goals. Only Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Iran’s Ali Daei have reached that figure in men’s international football. With Kane scoring regularly, he could reach the mark soon, especially with more UEFA Nations League games still to come.
