Before the opening ceremony began, players and umpires were received with a red carpet welcome by BCB President and Minister of Youth and Sports Nazmul Hassan Papon. The only decorations in place for the occasion were coloured gas canisters, balloons and smoke bombs.

Bangladesh Premier League Prize Money

The prize money for the BPL 2024 this year is estimated to be 11.5 crores in BDT, or 1.3 million in USD. To get to the finals, the teams will go through a total of five phases.

Current Bangladesh Premier League Champion

The reigning BPL champions are the Rajshahi Royals. It was their first championship last year. The group is headquartered in Rajshahi, Bangladesh. The team concluded its 2019 season and was subsequently ruled ineligible to play in the forthcoming Bangladesh Premier League.

Bangladesh Premier League 2024 Ticket Price
