An Amazing Innings for Australia but South Africa Win the Series

After a commanding innings by Australia which was lead by Cameron Green, Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh, Australia gave a total of 431 for the visitors to chase. The triple centuries and amazing striking made the match one-sided right out of the gates. 

South Africa could already feel the pressure in the start of their innings and it showed by the drop of wickets right off the bat. Some fans suggest that South Africa were conserving their energy for the next matches, considering that they were already 2 nil up in the ODI series.

Regardless of South Africa’s intention, Australia showed dominance and was able to save face in style, ending the series at 2-1 in favor of South Africa.

This series has given both sides a considerable amount of momentum for matches in the future, giving both sides a clear understanding of where the team lacks and what they can do to improve performance in the future.
