Shaheen Shah Afridi admitted that his team's bowlers had trouble in the starting overs which had given New Zealand a difficult target to meet. New Zealand took a 2-0 lead in the five game series after winning by 21 runs in even with a late comeback by Pakistan's batters. The New Zealand captain, Tim Southee recognized that his side needed to address a little collapse problem in the second half of their innings.

3rd Match

The cricket match between Pakistan and New Zealand had a number of great moments. Finn Allen's amazing performance saw him smash the records for most sixes in an over and greatest score by a batsman from New Zealand in a T20 international. Mitchell Santner, the captain of New Zealand, stated that the goal was to create a large run total against a strong Pakistani team.

According to Finn Allen, he concentrated on building a strong foundation and hitting the balls according to their merit. With two games remaining, New Zealand secured the series with a commanding 45 run victory at the end of the match.

Impressive performances occurred throughout the Pakistani innings, especially a half century from Babar Azam. But at critical times, wickets fell and the pace at which runs had to be scored increased. Pakistan was unable to pursue the target despite a few significant hits allowing New Zealand to win easily.

New Zealand's bowling, especially that of players like Ferguson and Southee demonstrated their ability to limit the batsmen from Pakistan. All things considered, it was a thrilling encounter highlighted by outstanding individual performances and a dominating performance by New Zealand in the series.

4th Match

The Pakistani team lost a lot of opportunities in their second T20 match against New Zealand Pakistan's skipper, Shaheen Shah Afridi, acknowledged that despite their strong start, they were ultimately defeated by their failure to take advantage of chances in the middle overs.

Once again voted Player of the Match, Mitchell from New Zealand recognized the difficult circumstances that Shaheen and his bowlers provided. Pakistan made a score of 158-5 but following a brilliant bowling display, found themselves in danger during their batting session.

Although Nawaz's late hitting and Rizwan's hard working fifty gave some confidence, the total was below average. New Zealand struggled early in the chase, losing three wickets in a short period. But Phillips' vital partnership and Mitchell's aggressive fifty reversed the tide in the Kiwis' favour. With seven wickets remaining, New Zealand claimed victory and took a decisive 4-0 lead in the series, even though Pakistan's bowlers made a late comeback.

5th Match

Pakistan chose to bat first after winning the toss in their T20 encounter against New Zealand in Christchurch. They chose to bat because as captain Shaheen Shah Afridi said, they thought the pitch would behave similarly to the last game. But Pakistan's choice to bat didn't work out well; they lost an early wicket and had a difficult start.

The bowlers from New Zealand, especially Tim Southee, applied pressure right away. Even with a few missed opportunities, Pakistan was unable to establish an important partnership. Pakistan's spin heavy approach appeared to be tested on a worn pitch. Young players had a chance to participate in the game which highlighted the team's focus on developing a fresh squad.

The pitch slowed down as the game went on making hitting difficult. Pakistan ultimately won by 42 runs ending their run of defeats in all competitions. Pakistan achieved an important victory and the captain's choice to include more spinners in the lineup was significant to the team's performance. The game also demonstrated the strong support of the Christchurch audience adding to the game's unforgettable cricket atmosphere.
