Summary of the movie

This is a tale about Raj Kundra, who's now in jail because he's accused of being involved in a case related to adult content.

Detailed of “UT69”

Raj Kundra, known as Shilpa Shetty's husband, was in trouble for a pornography-related case and spent 63 days in jail. The movie "UT69" was expected to show his side of the story but mostly focuses on the tough conditions in Indian jails.

The movie "UT69" doesn't talk a lot about Kundra's legal problem. He doesn't try to prove he didn't do anything wrong. The film mostly shows the difficult life in the Arthur Road jail in Mumbai. But, the movie doesn't have a clear story. It seems like it's just a bunch of things that happened to Kundra in jail.

Kundra tries to make people laugh about his story. It doesn't keep viewers interested. The movie isn't as exciting as other jail dramas. Even though we know Indian jails can be tough. The movie doesn't tell how tough it is. We wish it did a better job of showing the difficult life in prison.

The story revolves around Raj Kundra's time in jail due to the pornography case, starting from his arrest to his release after 63 days. The movie shows various incidents Kundra faced, like sharing a small barrack with many people, dealing with terrible hygiene, eating bland food, and seeing his famous wife getting attention from fellow inmates.

Despite the gloomy jail setting, the film lacks intense or brutal scenes commonly found in prison movies. Kundra tries his best in acting, but it's clear he's not a seasoned actor. The supporting cast, including Kumar Saurabh, Ganesh Deokar, and Mahesh Ghag, brings some laughs and saves the movie. Their strong performances help because the film is different from other gripping jail dramas, using humour instead of tension.

It would be better if the movie people showed more of the difficult things. This could have made the film more authentic and impactful.
